AI Jumpstart is a new, innovative program for Massachusetts companies to improve their competitiveness and growth potential. The AI Jumpstart Program is awarding seed funding for customized consulting services, including advice and guidance on technology development, testing and deployment, to growing companies in Massachusetts seeking to adopt or advance their use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) tools.
This opportunity is co-sponsored by Northeastern University and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts through the John Adams Innovation Institute at the MassTech Collaborative; also participating are Tufts University and Boston University. Its goal is to identify and work directly with companies with the potential to use advanced data analysis and computing AI and ML tools to increase operating efficiencies, sharpen competitive advantages and increase employment and profitability.
Following review of the preliminary applications, qualifying companies will be invited to participate in a workshop on June 11th to develop their thinking further and help us match their proposal with our technical experts from Northeastern University, Tufts University and Boston University.
While we expect to focus on companies with up to 300 employees, we will consider requests by larger companies as well. If you are headquartered or operating in Massachusetts, you are eligible to apply. Companies led by women and minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.
Selection and participation will be based on the applicant pool submissions, so we invite you to learn more and please feel free to contact us with any questions.
